Beautiful boot These boots are well worth the money. I purchased them in Tan and the finish is absolutely beautiful and distinctive. There is no center seam up the front which adds to their quality look. The leather is somewhat stiff and will hold up structurally for years without slouching around the ankles. You can really see the quality between these and a typical $100-$200 boot: the finish and color are gorgeous. I normally wear a 6 but heard these can run large, so I tried both a 6 and 5 and 1/2. While the 6 gave me more toe room and was actually a bit more comfortable in the toe areas than the other, I noticed that when I walked, the heels slipped a lot (as other owners have said they would). Because the leather will stretch and because I forsaw blisters in my future if my heel was constantly slipping up and down in the boot, I decided to go with the smaller size. If you have an average-to-wide foot, I would stay with your regular size because these are rather narrow in the toe…
